ISO9000:2015 certification

Technological developments follow each other rapidly and boundaries blur. Putting the customer first and being transparant in business are becoming increasingly important. In addition supply chains are becoming more complex which calls for closer cooperation between organizations. In order to keep up with these developments we at Marvo upgraded from ISO9001:2008 to the new ISO9001:2015 norm.

In 2015 the new version of ISO9001 was published. Changes have been made to this in relation to the 2008 version. ISO 9001:2015 has been developed to enable companies that want to follow developments and trends on the market to remain relevant and valuable.

The new ISO 9001 standard establishes a direct link between the business strategy and operational management and follows the High Level Structure (HLS). The HLS makes it easier to integrate themes within different ISO standards and other certification schemes based on ISO 9001 into one management system. Think for example of a complete management system for quality, environmental performance, health and safety management and information security; For Marvo, the connection with the automotive standard IATF16949 is important. Marvo is increasingly using elements from the IATF16949.

An important change (and new norm element) is risk-based thinking: actions to tackle risks and opportunities. Another important difference is that the emphasis is less on documents and more on documentation. ISO9001 requires a documented quality management system and not a system of documents.

The new quality system is better able to support the execution of processes and provides more certainty that processes are executed as planned.
